About the Czech-Korean Society
The Czech-Korean Society (체코-코리아 협회, CKS) is a non-governmental non-profit organization connecting people and institutions who share the interest in developing the friendship and cooperation of the Czech Republic and Korea.
Mission and vision
The Czech-Korean Society builds on plentiful historical and diplomatic contacts between the Czech Republic and Korea and supports their further development. CKS develops and encourages all activities aimed at the building of mutual understanding between both regions in various areas of social life, particularly in the area of culture, education, healthcare, sport, religion, tourism, science and technology or economic and commercial cooperation. The ultimate goal resulting from the efforts of the CKS is an open and tolerant Czech-Korean dialog which underpins a successful cooperation between the Czech and Korean nation.
